At MKS we pride ourselves with the reliability of our Adapta flag ship range however we do recognise that our consumers need some re-assurance in the unlikely event of a failure.
Adapta as a product range has been in circulation for over 15 years and we can boast in excess of 500,000 cylinders in daily use across a broad spectrum of industries such as schools; academies care homes and HMO’s just to name a few. Our warranty is both simple and self-explanatory as explained in the graphics below.
Our warranty varies dependant on which Adapta type is supplied but in brief is explained below.
Adapta Std; J40 Restricted Adapt Prime and Adapta Prime HS
12 months no quibble replacement FOC including postage within the UK & NI. We will ask for the return of the goods but there is no obligation to do this, however, we do recommend that they are returned or collected by us so that we may investigate the cause of failure as it could well be down to malicious behaviour.
We believe it is in the users best interest to know this as if a pattern develops with regular failures due to misuse we will want to arrange collection to investigate if failure is due to malicious damage it may invalidate the warranty. In months 13-24 we ask for the goods to be returned for review if they can be repaired regardless of the reason for failure, we will repair them.
If the failure is due to malicious damage and need replacing, then we will charge for the replacement but return FOC.
Adapta Prime and Prime HS
This is extended as follows In months 25-60 we ask for the goods to be returned for review if they can be repaired regardless of reason for failure, we will repair them. If the failure is due to malicious damage and need replacing, then we will charge for the replacement and return.
MKS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS THAT MAY BE INCURRED. OUR WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO THE PRODUCT AND ONLY IF IT IS FITTED AND MAINTAINED IN LINE WITH OUR GUIDANCE AND INDUSTRY GOOD PRACTICE. (SEE TECHNICAL INFO CARE AND MAINTENANCE)
