In common with all MKS door cylinders our contract differ cylinders are all accredited to BSEN1303 grade 6 durability having been tested to 100,000 cycles

With sales exceeding 350,000 in the last 10 years or so. Differ cylinders are particularly popular with Architectural Ironmongers AI’s and Locksmiths as temporary or replacement cylinders. MKS carry a full range of sizes in both double (keyed both sides) Cylinder & Thumbturn (key on side Thumb Turn on inside) & Single cylinder or half-cylinders with key operation on one side only.
In recent years MKS have seen the door cylinder market gradually move towards higher security products driven by 2 main factors
(1) increased levels of burglary driven by the availability of tools on the internet and higher media profile enabling burglars to gain illegal entry.
(2) The Master Locksmiths Association, of which we are proud to be members and British Standards BSI creating a new standard TS007 1 -3 star. Master Key Systems are proud to have been at the forefront of this move and have been able to offer our customers TS007 1* compliant in the Adapta Prime and 1* accredited in the Prime 6 pin Dimple key version. Our flagship product is our fully compliant and accredited Adapta Prime HS 3 Star 10 pin cylinder with 2 patents and restricted key profile this product offers maximum security.
The 3-star standard differ product is typically used in high-risk areas where crime levels demand a higher security or where the occupants may be vulnerable. Typical the cylinder is used on the final entrance/exit to offer maximum benefit. Adapta Prime HS is designed to drastically reduce the risk of Drilling Snapping, picking and bumping. A full range of sizes in both double (keyed both sides) Cylinder & Thumbturn (key on side Thumb Turn on inside) & Single cylinder or half-cylinders with key operation on one side only.
As an ISO 9001 accredited company MKS ensure the most rigorous of quality checks and as a sub-contractor, we are also assessed by BSI to ensure we comply with the standards a sub-contractor has to meet to re-assemble kite marked product ensuring compliance with the standard.
